Jacquard Woven Badge Ltd came out of County Tie Fabrics Ltd weaving club ties founded by Mr Eric Ramsbottom in Blackburn 1968, then Jacquard Weaving Company was founded in 1972 in Withnell near Chorley initially weaving furnishings then Woven Badges. Jacquard Design Services was also Incorporated providing weavers with Jacquard cards all over the country.
After fifty years production during recent uncertain times we were fortunate to move to the control of DHJ Weisters and moved our staff and machinery to Anchor Mill Darwen. A good move as we have worked together for many years.
Now the last 100% U.K. manufacturer in the specialist field of Woven Badges.
Our production line primarily consists of a Jacquard design department (we were the first company to install a CAD system in 1976), hi tech weaving machinery, laser cutting machines, complimented by extensive cut and trim departments.
Through large scale investment our unique patented hi tech production system enabled us to introduce more core products such as Epaulettes, Linings, Waistcoats etc. Woven Premier Labels, laser cut to any shape or size and finished to “Iron On” soon joined the range.
Customised Polo Shirts, Rugbys, Fleeces incorporating your design with a Woven badge permanently attached, or fully Embroidered by our in house modern machinery.
All orders are manufactured from concept to completion at our Mill in Lancashire enabling us to produce small as well as larger orders.
Each order is customised throughout to the customers requirements. We can work from existing artwork, or our in house design studio can prepare sketches for your approval.
